Graphic Designer

At Maisey, a Graphic Designer is responsible for bringing creative ideas to life. 



Graphic Designers are responsible for bringing concepts from the drawing board to reality through every stage of the design process. This involves completing design research, generating ideas, assembling the right team to make things happen, and managing an idea from initial concept stages through to the final stages of production and execution. 

Role Description

Graphic Designers not only know all about each aspect of the design process; they are also able to practically execute on the delivery of creative assets that align with brand guidelines and embody a brand’s unique voice. 

Graphic Designers are both visionary and highly skilled creatives, and have proven experience with both conceptualizing and delivering engaging brand concepts across mediums (web design, brand collateral, social media posts, etc.) with excellence and professionalism. 

Graphic Designers know how to work with a diverse team to execute creative ideas and have a portfolio of work that demonstrates strategic thinking and problem solving that clearly responds to a brand's unique target audience and niche. 

Reporting

At Maisey, Graphic Designers are responsible for reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer to ensure that all assets and brand collateral align with a client’s brand strategy and objectives. 

Goals, objectives and KPIs for this role are determined by the Senior Graphic Designer and marketing director on a monthly / quarterly basis. 

Deliverables 

On a monthly basis, Graphic Designers are responsible for conceptualizing, producing and delivering the following assets, along with other projects that arise on an as-need basis:

Maisey Social Posts: designing social posts (3 per week) and sending them to the Maisey Content Creation team for posting them to our Social Accounts (Instagram, Facebook)

Web Design layouts: working with the Senior Graphic Designer and Project Manager to design engaging website layouts for Maisey Custom Website clients

Maisey.co template layouts: working with the Senior Graphic Designer and Project Manager to research and design engaging website template layouts for Maisey.co subscribers. 

Background

2-5 years of relevant experience working as a graphic designer as a freelancer or employee of a startup, agency, design firm, company or organization.

Associates / Bachelor's Degree or prior education in graphic design or another relevant field (not necessary, but very beneficial)

A portfolio of web design and graphic design projects and work for clients that demonstrate excellence, teamwork and a commitment to values and results. 

A desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic global team to build a SaaS product.

Culture & Office

Graphic Designers work with the Maisey team in our office in downtown Redding above Theory Collaborative. Given that our team is global, remote work arrangements can be explored on an as-need basis for travel obligations, but the role is based in Redding, California.

Compensation

Graphic Designers are paid annually for a full-time, 40 hour per week role.
